So I'm just curious why the show sends the top ten 10 designers to
showcase their collections at fashion week. Doesn't that completely
defeat the purpose of the show? I mean the last three designers should
be the only ones who deserve to go and show the world their clothes! I
am confused...

Great movies I can watch with my parents?

My parents know that I'm really into movies because I talk about them
all the time and have a section in my local newspaper where I write
about them. So this summer, they asked me to show them some really
good movies. But now that I think about it, they won't be comfortable
with me showing them a movie with any questionable content. To give
you an idea of how up tight they are about this, I'm 16 and my mom
still thought I shouldn't have seen the breakfast club. All the great
movies I can think of that are appropriate, (Up, Wall-E, Ferris
Beuller's Day Off, the dark knight, etc.) They've already seen. And
all my favorite movies they haven't seen (dazed and confused, fight
club, network, pulp fiction, eternal sunshine of the spotless mind,
Superbad, adaptation, etc.) have something in them that they would
think is inappropriate. I want to show them a really good, appropriate
movie, but can't think of any right now. Any ideas?

On the end of the evening, Stu hesitantly connects to Phil, Doug, Alan and Teddy to enjoy a beer. Staying at a campfire and roasted marshmallows, the group toast to Stu and Lauren's future pleasure. The next morning, Phil, Stu and Alan, together with gangster Leslie Chow (Ken Jeong) (whom Alan befriended after Las Vegas) and a series-cigarette smoking capuchin monkey, awaken in a unclean hotel room in Bangkok. Stu has a face tattoo, and Alan's head is totally shaven. Nevertheless, they can't discover Teddy, only looking for his severed finger. Chow starts recollecting the activities in the last evening, but his heart halts just after snorting a line of cocaine. Panicked, the trio get rid of Chow's body in an ice machinery. Isn't the term 'guilty pleasure' is used only by people who are ashamed of liking something mainstream?

I had no idea whether to post this on the RP section or Movies, both
have f**king up themselves w@nkers, so I'll do both. I'm in an angry
mood, 'Burn' by NIN is on repeat...

So in the music sense, you have your pop artists such as Ke$ha, Adele
or whatever, you have your mainstream rock artists such as Linkin Park
and MCR, anyone that does not kiss the a** of pitchfork media on a
daily basis... and god forbid if someone likes them, they have to call
it a 'guilty pleasure' to stop being stoned from hipsters who live on
a diet of indie rock bands and their cliched politically correct,
suffocatingly left wing lyrics *cough* Arcade Fire's The Suburbs
*cough*

In the movie sense, you have awesome movies such as Planet Terror
being called a 'guilty pleasure' because I don't know, they are
actually FUN movies and now Titanic is considered one despite it being
one of the greatest love stories. Sorry its so mainstream!

Seriously, RP, if someone ever calls your favourite novel, movie,
song, fast food place, clothes shop a guilty pleasure, do not hesitate
to scream or rant at them.
