How to do a sebastian bach/bon jovi scream?

I am an early teenager, and I can sing pretty well. I take lessons
from the Singing Success cd course by Brett Manning. My natural range
is that of Josh Groban, but I can also sing high stuff in the head
voice like Steve Perry and Bruno Mars, to name a couple. I can sing
skid row stuff like 18 and life, I remember you (even the high notes),
and youth gone wild, but I can't distort my voice on these songs at
all, even if I try. I can also do a pitchless screamo growl and high
scream, like the dude from slayer or all that remains, without hurting
my throat, through putting pressure in this area under my jaw, right
behind my chin. But I want to know how to do melodic, pitched, screams
like sebastian bach, on the last part of 18 and life, or Jon Bon Jovi
in I'll be there for you, that I can actually define a letter note on.
Is it the same technique as the screamo screams/growls? Or is it
different?
